Cadremont FAQ for Picture Mounts - Photo Mounts - Picture Frames UK and all Cadremont products

We use conservation mount board as standard. The specification of this board is    

  • Acid free
  • Bevel cut (to 45 degree angle)
  • WhiteCore as standard
  • This board will not discolour, please do not use an inferior board.

We are the only picture mount supplier we are aware of that can cut to a 45 degree angle - Does this matter ? - Yes it does.

Mounts cut to a 45 degree angle give much more depth to the finished artwork - and thats what our customers want.

All mounts fully comply to FATG (Fine Art Trade Guild) Conservation level. They also pass the Silver Tarnish Test and Photographic Activity Test

We can cut your mount for any frame / aperture size, shape, colour and quantity. Each one is cut with computer guided precision, this guarantees a perfect cut each and every time.

We offer various types, singles, doubles, extra thick , multi aperture mounts. 


Can I pick up my order ? - Yes you can or we can deliver it - or you can arrange for a courier to collect - if you do this though your courier is liable for any damages.

Can I pay over the phone instead of using the Internet? - Yes you can - we are happy to take orders and card payments over the phone.


Do you deliver abroad ? - Yes we do - and have supplied customers in many countries from Norway all the way to New York city. Please contact us for this as special conditions apply to overseas orders.


Do you provide samples ? - Yes - we can also supply you with a chevron Frame board and mounts to show your customers.

Can you supply non standard size frames ? - yes we can. We list all the standard sizes on the website. Any custom size you require - just call us and we'll give you a quote - and you can pay over the phone.

We produce all our products ourselves and are always happy to help and advise you.  We can deal with orders from 1 - to many thousands.
