Description

Double Mounts have 2 colours. For example top colour = Red , bottom colour=blue , this would result in a red outline mount , with the inline mount colour being blue.

Price varies depending on size

Note 1 - The apertures listed are cut ¼ inch under size. This is so the mount will fit over your artwork. For example if you have a 6x4 photo, the actual aperture size will be 5¾ x 3¾ .

Note 2 - We also offer a bespoke internal aperture size option. Bespoke orders will be cut exactly to the dimensions you specify.Please specify inches or centimetres, e.g 'A4 - Bespoke' - you could use 15x10cm or 3x3 inches etc.

All mounts are 45° Bevel cut they uniquely cut like this as it gives your artwork much more depth - no other mount cutter can currently offer this. All photo mounts are 100% Acid Free, Whitecore Conservation Level and fully comply to FATG (Fine Art Trade Guild) Conservation level. They also pass the Silver Tarnish Test and Photographic Activity Test

Double Mounts are 2 sheets of mountboard, usually colour co-ordinated to highlight colours used in the artwork

Double mounts are usually used to colour co-ordinate with your artwork. For example a bride has shades of green in her dress, the wedding photographer will use a green mount.  The effect is subtle, yet makes a difference.

All mounts are available in all the standard metric and imperial dimensions. They can also be cut to your exact requirements.

Please only ever use Conservation Level mounts. They are 100% acid free, comply to FATG (Fine Arts Trade Guild) and are guaranteed for 300 years. In other words they will last a life time compared to other cheap options which some retailers sell - please dont use those.

No they dont - you need to order backing boards separately. We believe you should always use backing boards especially if selling your artwork. It helps to keeps the work securely in place.
